Drove in the snow for the first time this weekend (Stevens Pass, WA) and I’d agree with what others have said - these tires (4s, 265/75r16) were above average for an A/T tire but not as good as a dedicated winter tire.

It had snowed a couple inches overnight and was not yet plowed, on the roads with a couple inches of snow they felt good and stable. I was driving conservatively but felt no issues. The parking lot on the other hand was an absolute ice rink (multiple cars got hit during the day, people falling everywhere just trying to walk around) and while I was definitely sliding around I was doing better than most people. That being said, my previous car was a Subaru Impreza with four wheel studs and this was nothing like that. That car I had to try and get it to slide even on sheet ice. Overall though, while they’re not magic these tires seem to be good in winter conditions so far.

I’d like to give another gas mileage update with my 4S’s in the stock 245/75-16 size. I’ve been averaging, now that the roads are clear, around 18mpg which is a little lower than my summer average of ~20mpg. Just did a 350 mile highway trip and got 20.1mpg, but admittedly I was driving slower and easier than normal due to the weather and icy roads. So so so happy with these tires!

For 34’s the tire weight on those things is crazy light, my 275/70r17 Goodyear mtrs weigh 59#s each while these weigh 57.. definitely buying them in about a month or so

For sure man. I’m going from 265/75/16 St Maxx at (according to tiresize.com) 54lb, gaining roughly 2” height. Should be a great setup!

Coming from 265/70/17 c load ko2. Wanna try these out. What would you recommend. I'd like to go slightly bigger without sacrificing much weight and also want something durable for light offroading on socal mountain and desert trails

really like the size of these in you pics. I have been considering them over the 285 st maxx. what's the prognosis on the fenders, you need to trim them to stuff? guessing you have cmc and pinch weld hammered. They look like a little work to fit but not as much as 315's.

    also, what's your offset? 0 or -25?

I’m really glad I took the plunge to 295/75’s. I really like the look and the 4.0L handles them fine. With this set up I shaved around 5lbs off each corner, even with the jump from 285/75 (BFG KO’s) to these larger tires. The 16” SCS F5’s are only 19lbs so that helps.

I had a heavy CMC done, hammered the pinch weld and cut a bunch off my front fenders...then had to cut some more lol. No rubbing lock to lock while daily driving at all. We’ll see how it goes off-road. If i have issues off-road I’ll get an alignment to make sure my caster is maxed out...shouldn’t be a problem though. I definitely don’t rock crawl and I can fit my hand between the tire and cab mount at full lock now.

    The wheels are -25 offset/3.5”BS

I really want to see these on your truck. I'm way to perplexed about sticking with 255/70/17 that came with the truck or going to the 265/70/17. I would get 5100's and go 1 click up on the front and get an extra half inch on the back with a Hellwig.
