STT PRO is a MT but I loved them! I got just over 60,000 aggressive miles on them and I like to pick the SC a Lot!

My AT3s have started to become noisy on the highway. I rotate them every 5k and they're evenly worn. Using the p-metric 265/70/16 size at 29/32 psi front/rear.

They track straight and have reasonable traction, but they're not doing well on comfort and noise.

Tempted to ditch them and buy Michelin Defenders.

Approximately how many miles and how many years do you have on them?

Base the tire pressure on specs in the truck, and also the sidewall rating. I unfortunately don't have a Tacoma anymore, but I've got a 96 dodge 2500 diesel that weighs about 7000 lbs. Factory spec on my truck calls for 65 up front and 80 in the rear. I also have 10 ply E rated tires, which makes thicker sidewalls.

Tacomas weigh about 4000-4200 stock. IIRC, they spec about 32 psi in all 4 tires. In a local thread, one guy has his truck modded out and weighing about 5200.

If you are weighed down to more like 5000 lbs, go more toward 40 psi. Otherwise, stay closer to 32-35. Higher pressure will make for a worse ride on bumpy roads and wear the center of the tread out more than the shoulders.

I’ve been very impressed with these in both wet and snowy conditions. Highly recommended.

2.5 years and 25k miles is roughly what's on them. Tread depth is still great but man they are noisy at interstate speeds.

Finally got around to installing my lift, which meant tires and wheels too! Sofar I am really happy with the tires! I went with 285/75/17 on Method 316 wheels. I realize the pictures aren’t the best, but they are all I have right now.

It looks like you have the same amount of lift as me. Do the 285/75r16 rub? Did you have to do a CMC or pinch-weld fold? Thanks.

I usually run 35 in mine on the pavement. Off road between 20-25 pending the environment I'm driving in.

I rubbed on full lock due to the offset + whee spacer. Did a CMC and no more run anywhere.

    Wouldn't you like to know!
I'm getting around 14.5 - 15mpg in the city and have gotten 17.5 on straight highway with 87 octane. They are pretty quiet on the highway. That's one of the reasons why this is my 2nd set of these!

I don’t, but have been tire hunting lately and just wanted to share what looked like a good price. Would be curious to hear opinions on them too from anyone who has them though!

These have been a massive improvement over the stock tires. I will say, though, they seem a touch more choppy on concrete for some reason. But that could have something to do with my suspension too because my last truck didn't seem to have those issues on the same tires. I suspect that will go down as the lugs wear a bit, but it's dead smooth on blacktop at the same speed. I love that they're more aggressive than stock, but not too aggressive.

I saw this today. No decent tire stores near me to price match for the AT3. I’m tempted to get these because I can get all 5 mounted and lifetime balanced for $650. Looking at the pictures the siping is more substantial on the AT3.

For a $250 difference it’s not worth being upset for the next 3 years. I also don’t see the snowflake rating on the $108 model.
