I put a set of 265-75-16 LT (C) on 3 years ago and the probably got 50,000 miles out of them. The last 10,000 miles they sucked in the rain and ended up cupping real bad / got really loud. I really wanted to try Toyo AT3 but everywhere I checked said back ordered for 60 days. I am in Iowa and it could snow any day so I wanted new tires before weather turns crappy. I went with the AT3 4S this time to see how they hold up compared to the"C" load range.

My family back in PA have had great luck with the AT3 4S on their Jeeps. Slushy winters out there too

Picked up my 285 XLTs about 25,000 miles ago, still tons of life on them. Has yet to disappoint as far as performance goes, that covers wet/snow/sand off road. Only issue I personally had and pretty sure this was my fault was driving on a bad alignment early on which resulted in cupping. But outside of that, these tires do the job and will probably be my tire of choice when I bump up to 315s.

Nice rig brother! I know this is old thread, but what size tire is on that Sema wheel, and did you have any rubbing? Cheers Al

Just got my first LT tires to replace the stock Firestone highway tires: 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT (load C) on stock SR5 wheels.

I’ve ran 2 set of these over the years and been a great tire for me. Snow is my biggest obstacle where I live and they been great on my 02 Tacoma in stock 265/70-16 in the At34S.

Debated between Coopers and Wildpeaks, ended up with the Coopers and love them. Just had a foot of snow in Virginia and I was plowing through it no problem.

    Got 'em and love 'em!
There is a HUGE difference in feel over my Firestones.
I'm hoping to give them a good run this weekend.

Very Nice. My truck is coming up on 40k, and needs inspection. I was going to the Cooper Discoverer RTX, but after reading the specs on the 265/75/16 AT3 4S Discoverers, and seeing them on your Tacoma, I will be going to those. :) I will try and post a before and after pic. Here is before....

Noticed this today at work today. Sure looks like something is wrong with this tire but Americas Tire is saying it’s a cut from something I ran over. I’m not convinced of that but they offer no help so I’m stuck looking to buy new tires.
    :annoyed:

Any serious benefit to going with the LT over 4S? Not doing any crazy off roading or towing anytime soon, mostly highway.
