I already had a cab mount chop. They are a little heavy but no heavier than the Nitto trail grapplers. Mine are load range E 10 ply

Yeah I believe the XLTs have a 2 ply sidewall instead of the usual 3 ply that most E rated tires have. I might be wrong but I’m almost positive I read that somewhere during my tire research.

My 265/75/16 Grabbers only weigh 2 pounds less.

Yep they’re the usual heavy duty E rated tire. The 285/75/16 grabber weighs 58 pounds compared to the 54 pound XLT.

Upgraded from the stock goodyears a few weeks back to 265/75R16 LT's in load range C. Honestly cannot really feel much difference in driving them around vs the stock P rated tires. Also the sidewall for the LTs looks much more aggressive than you would think. Really happy with my purchase.

Wanted to get a set of AT3 4S but local shop only had these available. Thought I'd post pics for the Discover Road+Trail AT's in 265/65R18.

@rek0104 how do the tires perform overall? Your personal review would be much appreciated.

Just had them put on this morning so no real review of them yet. They look great on the truck and don't have any issues with rubbing on stock suspension.

Went a little over 300 miles round trip yesterday afternoon and can say these drive great on the highway but I have dropped a few mpgs. I had been getting around 21.5 before on the stock Michelin LTX m/s2 and was at 18.5 yesterday on a very familiar route, though I also went up an inch in tire size as well so I'm honestly quite happy still getting 18+. No discernable road noise and steering input is very similar to the stock LTX with a far more pronounced tread to the tire. So very good initial impressions.

    going to be fun!
The shoulder of these seem to be more square than the AT3 4S

Installed the new road+trail tires 265/75/16. Previously had AT3 4S 265/70/16. Very similar tire. Have only driven 20 miles on them but they do seem a bit smoother than the AT3s.

265/75 16 LTs installed. Truck drives so much better over the DC Trail Country EXP.

No more E-Loads for me. I do wish there were more off-road options with the more durable compounds in C-Loads or even standard load for that matter.
I almost went with the Baja Boss in standard load. Has very deep tread in SL, but after communicating with Mickey Thompson, they don't really recommend them for off-road. . They only recommend their E-Load for actual off-road use.
