Hahaha! Probably. I'll try to get them dirty over the weekend and see how they do.

Well that is very encouraging to hear!

You know, I saw more mud in my old stock GY tires and never got this truck stuck. I'm glad I'm back to a more comfortable street ride since that is about 90 - 95 % of what I see.

I think the MT Baja SLs would be fine for most mild offroad, but C load is def the happy medium. Cooper and Mickey Thompson are both Goodyear owned now so technically you kept it in the family

I think you are right. My concern would be over time the softer compound chunking off on gravel and small sharp rock. I think the sidewalls are not an issue at all on mild off-road. And yes, from the original stock tires, to the DC, to the Coopers we are all in the GY family now.

Does anybody know if Discount Tire plans to restock the AT3 XLT's? Looks like tirerack is the only place stocking them now

As long as the manufacturer still produces the tire, Discount Tire locations would have the option to special order. Tire Rack is the sister company of Discount Tire and can ship product to any Discount Tire location for install if that's more convenient for you.

Thanks for the reply! Didn't know that DT could special order tires like that. Much appreciated.

Has anybody measured the tire height after installation? Reading that these tires run .5"-1" smaller than Cooper's stated dimensions (which are already smaller than the dimension should be). E.g. 285/75R16 is listed at 32.56" rather than 32.8", and some people have measured them to be under ~31.7" on other forums after mounting.

No they're 2 ply, the main reason why they're so lightweight.

Anybody need a 265/75/16 A/T 3 SL load rating, pre 4s? Was my spare that never got used. Free if you can use it and are willing to pick up in Coachella Valley.

Just looking for some quick feedback.

I have the AT3 4S in 265/70/17 on a ~2.5" lift, but it's time to replace. I've been happy with them. I see they are discontinued, though, and replaced by the Road & Trail.

How is road noise with the R&T?

I don't really take them off-road, I just prefer the look of them, so any change in off-road performance is moot in my case.

Looks like a Cooper rebate going right now through Discount Tire, so planned on ordering soon.

    Thank you for any feedback.

Need some advice on tire size. I've got the stock 18" LTD wheels that come with 265/60-R18 tires. I want to get roughly 33" tires. Will 265/70-R18 work?

With the new Road+Trail, the tread was designed to minimize road noise, those forum members that have them state they are quiet for an all terrain. Shoot us a DM if you would like our assistance.

I’m glad I got these instead of “10-ply”. Would have been overkill for the light taco
