With my original Wranglers on the verge of complete failure (at 27k miles) I decided new tires should probably happen before the wonderful late fall/early winter weather the midwest enjoys. After looking around a bit I decided on Cooper Discoverer ATP in the stock 265/70/R16 size. I wanted an all terrain that was equally happy on the highway as it was on my camping trips. I've had the tires now for a week and the initial difference in ride is substantial. The winter will be the big test for these in my mind but so far these are excellent and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a balanced AT tire.

TL:DR- Discoverer ATPs are a solid choice.

They look like good tires, I ran their Zeon LTZ years ago on my Nissan Titan and liked them.

I am about to replace my ATPs after almost 4 years and over 50k miles. Definitely worth the $. Only reason I am not getting a new set is I want to go 255/85-16 and more aggressive == ST Maxx

I like that they don't have crazy sidewall knobbies. I want an AT tire with subdued sidewalls.
