Looking at getting a set of 265/70r17. Going to be mounting them on the TRD Pro wheels. I thought I was dead set on the E load KO2s, but then I saw the Cooper Rugged Trek. Love the look of the tire. Looking at an E load in that as well.

Which one should I get? Cooper is 32.01" and KO2 is 31.65". If I go Cooper, will it rub on stock suspension? It's bigger than most tires that size.

You will probably rub just a little bit here and there with the Coopers, but easily fixable. I like my KO2's better than I liked the Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx.

Typically the Toyota 17" with 265 70R17 barely rubs against the mud flap. A simply caster positive alignment fixes it. Or remove the mudflaps.

I'd rock those coopers, I worry they will be noisy, but I think they will be more versatile than the aging KO2.

If I recall another member put them on, you get to chose the sidewall pattern on the coopers.

I'm running 32" E rated cooper cheapies and I've been happy with the abuse they take.

Cooper is having QC issues globally, but its not well documented. I'm not worried personally.
