They look very aggressive without being a full MT. How's the noise and ride?

It's been a while since I've had street tires, but in comparison to my previous KO2's, I hardly notice a difference, if any exists. For being as aggressive as these tires are/look, they are surprisingly mild mannered and quiet.

Read through this thread before pulling the trigger on the Rugged Treks and thought I would add my photos for anyone else on the fence.

Have a stock 2022 TRD OR and got TRD Pro wheels and 265/70/17 Rugged Treks- No rubbing and low noise.

What was your lift when you first installed this tire? Any rubbing?
    Thx

I think, I'm about 2" front and rear. Honestly, I was bad with measuring. However, I went from a 31.4" tire to a 33" tire, some my lift was 0.8" lift...

Well I’m not sure what side the raised white lettering is on but that’s the side I’m exposing for the world (and me) to see. Just ordered from tire rack. Btw these tires are 80 $ up from a year ago. Thanks Joe.

They don't have white lettering... unless you paint them.

    Great all round off-road/on-road tire

    Submitted 6 months ago

    From Seattle, WA

I'm running these on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma in a 285/70/17. I considered a lot of tires before I chose this set. So far, I'm impressed with the on-road and off-road performance. Additionally, they are relatively light, compared to other similarly styled tires. Cooper! Please, please, please, offer more sizes in 16" and 17" and please make a C or D load. Particularly, a C-load or D-load in a 285/75/16 (33").
Haha just read this on the cooper site!

Mine are the stock trd size. I could run bigger but I don’t go ballistic enough to warrant larger tires. To me the tread pattern is what matters the Most.

Would love to see these come out in a 255/80/17 size.

Same. Seems like 16’s are dying out for other than HD use. I’ll probably end up going 17’s for that reason. Tires are cheaper and better options.

Same here. I ran the Rugged Trek tires on my Colorado but had to switch since I didn't want to stay stock size or buy new rims. Womp womp womp

I’m thinking the same thing. I could of gotten a great deal on 17’s. But I’d need another spare wheel and tire. Then the deal wouldn’t be a deal anymore
