I gave up waiting for the cooper st maxx to come out in 255/85/16. After doing research and waiting a good 6 months after being told they would come out mid 2013. I found that back in 2011 people were posting about this same topic! And they still haven't come out. I was then told late November - December. Now someone just posted not until 1st quarter of 2014 which could be January thru March. I got tired of waiting but I really do hope these come out in the 255 size. I'd get them for my next tire. I thoroughly enjoyed my 255/85/16 cooper ST's

Wow! Do stores have them yet? I just bought new tires, mainly for off roading. But I've wanted these ST Maxx for a long time. I might have to get a set of these in 255 and store the 33/10.5/15 km2's for wheelin

Price looks good at Tread Depot. They have a good price on the Toyo MT's too. I'm going to be thinking about which I really want.

Just ordered a set of 285/75r16s S/T Maxx's from Tire Depot. I should have them soon. I ordered over the phone, didn't sound like they had too many in stock. Was originally going to order from Discount Tire, but they were on backorder with no ETA.

    Any update on availability?

I've been looking for a set of 255/85R16 but don't have any local dealers.

A couple guys have purchased the 255/85/16 st Maxx. There's another 255/85/16 thread where you can see the posts. I think they said discount tire is where they purchased theirs. Discount probably won't have them in stock but should be able to get them.

Very excited to see all this info! Was planning on gettin the 255 ST for a while now, but as it's almost bout time to purchase I went into panic mode making sure I was making the best decision for my driving needs. I did review the MAXX but not seeing the 255 option I ignored it.. Being pointed twords this thread has made it easier to pull the trigger in a few weeks and inquire my local shop to find the 255/85/16 MAXX!! So pumped! Thanx everyone

E range only for 255. Check out coopers website, I don't think any of the st maxx are not load range E.

    Incorrect. Of coopers website:

    azy6agu7_67c7c538d9855eaf5bd35e8a16b794826302d771.jpg

The regular s/t can be had in load range d for 255, but not the maxx

Edit, I don't even see 255's on there, so you could be right, but none of the other maxx's are anything but E

Did that size just come out too? Like the 255/85/16.

Or has it been out for a while

They just came out as well. I think they already had a 255/75/17 size that comes in load c but the 255/80/17 load e are new. So far best price I can find them at are treaddepot.com as mentioned above. discount tire doesn't list them yet, just the 255/85/16s. When my km2s wear out, i want to give these a try.
