They do tend to get louder as they wear, but still less so than KM2s did, at least

Very Nice Jay15 - So just to confirm, the spacing on your rims avoided the need for spacers?
Unfortunately, I don't think I have that option. But I'm not too worried about a set of spacers. I was thinking about making the rear more stout stance as well.
Def. leaning towards those Coopers. Thanks again for pics!

Love my STT Pro's. Went with 295/70/17 on -38 offset.

That is correct, wont need spacers for the backspacing on the rims and tire setup.. not a problem glad to help!

Ride is great, they absorb everything on the road. These actually track straight while driving unlike the Yokohamas I had.

Definitely took some work to make them fit. Had to get an aggressive CMC, alignment to adjust the caster and some minor cutting / a lot of molding with a heat gun. This is with 5100's in the front set on the highest preload, stock springs.

Can't give an accurate estimate on mileage since I still haven't had it calibrated. Can't be worst than 16 with tires and lift. I have a manual and find it's much more pleasurable to drive if I just keep the mileage readout hidden lol.

those are two different animals....the AT3s are All-Terrains and the STT Pros are Mud-Terrains

The tire for you depends on what kind of driving you're going to do

why don't you like the KO2s? Just curious....

Check out the Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx. They’re a hybrid MT/AT that wear well and aren’t too noisy:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-off-your-cooper-st-maxx.346956/

I skipped the KO2s in favor of the Cooper ST Maxx because I’ve read over and over that after about 30k miles the KO2s aren’t great in the wet, especially heavy rain (hydroplaning conditions). A few guys said they were fine (bit of a mixed bag really) but enough said they weren’t for me to shop around. I can say I'd buy the Coopers again now that I’ve had them.

Like that commercial on TV............"You're going to like the way you look"...lol. Love that tire and Cooper is still the last American owned tire company in the states I think. I would still buy them because they held out for so long.

So I first wanna say that I'm in love with these tires!!! I've had mine on for awhile now but as soon as they hit snow.... holy crap do they slip. What other Cooper tire would be better in snow? Thanks. :)

The AT3 4S would be an AT but will be better on-road in the snow
