Used to run st Maxx with studs in the snow on a 2500 dodge hauling a 10k trailer in the winter and loved em.

Cooper STT PRO Tires are AMAZING tires! They come as advertised for mud terrain conditions, they work PERFECTLY! The way these babys look are so aggressive makes you want to slap yo momma. I had these tires on for about 2 years now.

BUT these tires I think are definitely specific use tires only. Don't get me wrong I love them. After putting in just above 20k miles in them they seem to be getting louder and louder in the streets/highway. When I first got them it was tolerable but after the 20k mile mark they have gotten drastically louder. On top of this you can feel them alot more and ride is less smoother.

IMO they are great if your using them as they are advertised but if you are 90% hitting the pavement then you should probably go with a different option.

Maybe I'm just getting older but I cannot wait for this winter to get some new tires! These tires also are not snow rated and did ok in the snow for me, but I did drive like Ms. Daisy when in the snow.

Hopefully the KO2s ALL terrain will do the trick. Again love them but would not recommend if you are hitting pavement majority of the time.

Good to know! I am running the ST MAXX right now and they have done just fine in the snow but I also drive extra careful in the snow (other drivers are shit around here in the snow) I would like to try out the STT PROs BUT if they aren't to good in the snow then I don't know if I should living in MN and getting snow October to April. My MAXXs have done amazing every where I have used them, CO mtns, Utah clay, north shore mud. They never skip a beat but they are getting much louder now they are on the end of their life.

You like the MAXXs in winter? I've got a set for my truck but I swap them out for a winter set every year because I slip and slide with the MAXXs. No doubt a good tire for everything else though.

They aren't terrible. I do slip a little but never understeer. I also take corners slow. The trucks traction control is so good though it wont let me slide really.
