Zimbabwe is pretty OK. Could be much worse. Just watch for the feisty old guys that still call it "Rhodesia"

Ah crap man I think you one upped me with that trip. Aye man I assume you had no choice on that one? Haha I’m buying a new set of rcv axles so I will be in a similar boat with LT axles pretty soon. The wallet hates me good.

@Coot83 If you are anywhwere near it, you need to go see Victoria Falls. And if you can manage it, go take a dunk in the Devil's Pool. A natural eddy on top of the falls!

Yea I hear flying on international planes are sort of fun compared to doing nothing for multiple hours so we will see!

Well I have toasted two LT axles already so I’m done not being overkill. Hopefully these survive me. I’m guessing limit straps killed them, but I honestly don’t know at this point and lifetime so I will be 4wd again dammit!

How about I go ahead and trade you those two rcv axles for two complete standard LT axles, plus a spare shaft, plus $200?

Or 3 complete LT axles? But that’s my final offer.

Load up that iPad ... on the 14 hr plane ride to Taiwan last month I just kept telling myself "this is the life, what I daydream about on stressful work days -- to just sit and binge watching a show for hours." It kinda helped.

Haha you know I’m not playing the broken axle game anymore!

    Tempting though.

So I made some progress with mounting my race radio handheld thanks to the inspiration from snosk8air2. The other thing I got done is mounting the snorkel. I am planning to cover the hole a little better, but works for now.

Last thin is I got some fuel pax for long desert running and their mounts for the prinsu to finally validate having it on there. I’m picking up my arb tred pro recovery boards this weekend thanks to @state48overland!

Damn, that snorkel came out hella good!

And when you consider upgrading to a full up mobile unit, the Yaesu 7900 and 8900 heads mount in the pen slot perfectly. I am actually about to jump ship to an 8900 from my 7900 if you are interested in a deal.

I could depending on what you are thinking for it. Is it hard to set up or just route the positive and negative?

Connect positive and negative to power source (mine is to a blue sea, but to battery works too). Then run a coax cable and antenna to the roof.

If you can wire a light bar, you can set up a basic HAM radio setup.

Recovery boards? I thought I talked you out of them. Full overlander now, might as well throw the rtt on for daily driving.
