I've pulled into random lots before at night for various reasons:

    *Answering an important text/phone call
    *Checking directions
*Too sleepy to drive (I'd rather park in a lot I'm not supposed to than keep driving and risk killing myself or somebody else)
    *Spilled something :p
*Pull over to eat something (road trip, fast food. I'd rather pull over and eat in my car than sit and eat in a Taco Bell :p)
    *Pee in a bottle

Using the information about the driver I made a logical assumption. I'm not justifying the cops behavior in any way, I'm just saying thats more than likely what the kid was pulling into the parking lot to do. For some reason people who smoke where its illegal think its a good idea to smoke in their car or in public, idk why...

One time, I stopped at night (like 3 in the morning) in the back of a Wal-Mart parking lot to pee in a bottle, and it overflowed and got all over my hands. :(

A cool cop saw me and came over to me and asked what I was doing (while I was still peeing on myself), so I told him exactly what happened. He had a roll of paper towels in his car and he threw them to me. Good guy. :D

I had a couple cops question me once in a parking lot cuz they thought we were stealing my truck. Once they found out we were smoking pot, they left. True story

I was in the middle of LA at like 3 at night. I couldn't even think straight and there's no dedicated rest stops off of I-5 in the middle of LA and everything was closed, so I came to the only logical conclusion: Wal-Mart parking lot.

That sucks, But the part that got me was, was still peeing on myself. I LOL'ed! I think I would get out and stand next to the truck. I have never been good with bottles.

I literally could've filled two bottles. It wasn't pretty...

I was trying to be respectful by not peeing on their property, but I failed. :(

The cop was cracking up at me. Los Angeles Sheriff's Department of Norwalk FTMFW.

This video pretty much depicts most of the police in NJ that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. So in an effort not to get banned I am not saying anything else. :D

I do find most cops are cool. I ran out of gas one night, late, and the cop who got to me before the tow truck arrived actually pushed my car to the side of the road (it died at a stop sign).
Note: Tow truck was bringing gas, not towing my vehicle.

Nope. I think that one closed at midnight. The reason why I went to a Wal-Mart was because I thought maybe it might be open 24/7. Yeah it wasn't.

I couldn't wait any longer so I just parked in the back, emptied a water bottle and let it go. Then I felt my hands getting warm and then I saw lights behind me and I was like "well, this is embarrassing".

I find it amusing to a degree about the folks who think cops are dicks. A couple things to consider.....They are people just like you and me. A bad day at his "office" could mean a colleague or him/ferself goes home dead, or injured in a horrible way. For those that think cops are dicks, I invite you to call a number, other than 911, when shit goes down in your life. :) Because when Shit hits the fan for you, the cops do NOT care who you are, they are going to respond, and put their lives before yours if needed. And I challenge this....The next time you see a cop, or happen to be near one, smile, and be nice. In a job as unforgiving, dealing with people who are (for the most part) un gratefull, and assholes, a smile and a kind word can go along way. Odds are, the cops gonna remember your face, and if you get pulled over down the line, he may let you go with the same kind words you gave him/her.
