    Agreed. The guy deserves worse.
Did anyone watch the whole video? And the scumbags disregard for others safety? All I can say is only one kick?? Cops have a hard enough job without people like this on the earth.

    And that was my point.
    One civilian was ALMOST killed.

Property can be replaced. No big deal!

The guy DID NOT kill anyone! YES he's a gang banger who deserves to spend the rest of his life in jail for the crimes he's committed. NO he doesn't deserve another chance to be a contributing member of society. Lock him up, for the rest of his life, in federal with the horniest inmate possible. But the kick should not have happened. That cop let a thug get the best of him.

    What?
The cops job is to protect and serve. Dealing like people like this is part of the cops job.

You all can sit here and criticize all you want from behind your keyboard.
But until you are that cop chasing that guy with your adrenaline pumping through your body. Emotions surging, breathing heavily, And dealing with criminals on a daily basis. then maybe you can call that officer wrong. The fact it was only one kick shows his self control.
think about the last time you got angry and maybe threw, or hit something. what was it for? then think about what this cop has to deal with to control those emotions.

I see your point. and yes, the cop did let the A hole get the "Best of him". BUT, Lets say the guy in the crosswalk WAS hit......then what? Im sure that cop has seen this shit for a long time. And the way the courts are run, these guys get away with shit all the time. Personally, Im sick of it. The sentances they receive are a pittance compared to what they deserve. I DONT think the cop needs to loose his job, nor receive a demotion. Counceling, yes. Its pretty easy to say what the cop "should have done" when in the safety of your (all of us) house. Its a different story when your in the middle of it, and dealing with these guys all day, every day, and seeing them walk because an "I" wasnt dotted, or a "T" wasnt crossed. Kick the fuckers in the head.

    Chris I agree with you.
    BUT...
The guy in the crosswalk WAS NOT hit. In a situation like this you shan't use the "what ifs" because as we both know what ifs are not facts...they are scenarios.
As I already said; what if:
    the guy is Santa Claus?
He just banged the cops wife?
he tried to hit on the cop at the gay bar the night before and the cop doesn't want his buddies to find out he's a peter puffer?

The sentences the guy has had in the past have been light. If he had stayed locked up then none of this would've happened. BUT he was given light sentences and he was out....that's a whole different topic.

The cop simply let the thug get the best of him and he lost control of his emotions. I know what cops are put through every day because I have several good friends who are cops. All agree this guy deserved to get his ass kicked but not by a on-duty cop.
