Yeah it was totally unlucky the front of my fender liner was hanging down and the water that pushed off the front waved and got scooped up and packed into the inner liner and up into the intake.

Cove was fun, i will say on the way back i was leading and it was dark and i accidentally made the wrong turn into a portion that i thought we had traveled down in a creek. Thank god i was going slow because it dropped off real quick and my hood went under the water for a sec. I threw it in reverse super quick. I know i have a snorkel but damn i dont like that feeling.

Whooo, lots to catch up on! Didnt get home til late thirty last night.

Man a freaking pleasure getting to meet and see all of y’all finally! Sorry that I didn’t get to say goodbye to everyone, came back across the creek and everyone had already rolled on out! Had a blast with all of you fine ladies and gents.

    @JBTacoma @cubie @pdaddy @TacoAlaMode @synaps3 @TRD Tyler @Dirk Diggler @Brian422 ... hope I didn’t miss anyone :)

Thanks for trusting me not to get y’all lost in the middle of nowhere  Glad we were able to get through it all with minimal damage and that everyone was able to get their rigs home on their own power.

It never fails that I leave the Cove without some type of damage. This time it’s a messed up driveshaft (if anyone has one for a V6, Auto, 4x4 DCSB let me know!), a slight dent in my passenger side rear door that happened on the way out yesterday, and a serpentine or supercharger pulley bearing that’s decided to start singing for me. But hey it’s all part of the adventure

Yes sir his name is Blake, I’ll share the link once he gets them up.

    Loved the Samuri man:cool:

Yeah give me a few to see if I can get it up on the tube

    Never ;)

Dude, you freaking KILLED it! Still can’t believe you got all the way there and back with minimal winching

Is there a DS shop near you? If so take it and have them retube it for you. I'm dropping one off for a guy today that he beat up pretty bad sat. There's a website you can order a brand new one from for ~600 the whole thing then just get that one retubed for a spare. Great pics looked like a ton of fun I'm a little dissappointed I couldn't make it.

Of course man, just happy everyone enjoyed themselves. I’m so down! I know Windrock was mentioned too, I’m sure I’ll be headed there in the next month or so if we want to try to plan a trip there.

Glad you enjoyed it man:rofl: not going to lie, I was extremely doubtful of a 2wd capabilities through that trail but you threw those doubts right out the window haha

can’t wait to move to AL to get to hang out and wheel with you folks more!!

next time for sure man, I’m always out and about so we’ll 100% be doing something again, soon!

I’m honestly not sure. I’ll have to look into it.

I’ve found a couple driveshafts in AL, one for $40 and one for $100 that look to be in solid condition. Figure I may pick one of those up and throw some new u-joints and carrier bearing on them and call it a day

Outstanding pictures. I don't normally get bothered by spiders but this one will haunt my dreams. Looks like some really technical trails and a lot of fun.

That wasn't a water crossing, that was a dug out mud hole.

See the 2nd part of that original statement, lol
