Great looking rig with the lift & tires!!! I also think the toyota wheels you have are the best looking ones from Toyota!!! I always sipe my tires....I think they last longer and for sure are better in the snow & rains!

when i bought them i thought they were supposed to come with the brow but they didn't, theres no tubes or any wiring for them so i guess they shipped me a different version. ok with me though, they still look sweet IMO!

love your truck by the way!!

nah, those were plug and play but when i did my retro fit i destroyed those lights. i was going to do a projector swap but the projectors in those headlights are way small and try as i might, was no way i could fit the new ones in there so i just put em in my stock headlights. looks different now but i like the way it looks

haven't had an update in a while, here's some recent pics of my small projects.

    HID Retro Fit

    - TSX projectors with Phillips 85122 bulbs

I used the halos off my old headlights and put them around my projectors then hot-wired them into my parking/running light setup. I know a lot of guys hate halos but I think they're cool. The bowl reflects the halo to make it look like they're are two, thought that was kinda nifty. Don't mind the dirty headlight, was just a test fit.

    IMG_2255_cd3b412adcb1eb0a004706f57c7371b5d745ce80.jpg

Overall I'm incredibly happy with the lights, I have the steps about one lane apart so I get a wider spread. The difference between stock and these is amazing!

    Snow Storm

Had a pretty big storm a few weeks back and took some shots with my cellphone (didn't want to risk breaking my camera...but the phone? eh, I have backups lol) Drove the whole way home between 15-20mi/hr...was a base layer of ice plus between 6-8in of snow on top. Truck handled very very well, was the first time I got to really put my tires to test and they blasted through everything with ease and never broke traction. Very very happy! My pics are just for show, I couldn't use my grill lights and bar lights, too powerful and blinded me pretty good.

Got a wash a few days later and parked...then couldn't keep my eyes off it so I snapped a couple quick pics

My most recent project was painting the interior. Gone is the silver around the gauges, and the silver/grey center dash. Everything is now black except the bit around the radio...no idea what it's called :anonymous:

Drove around like this for about a week

And now I drive around like this!

In case you don't see it, the red is a big evil-looking face. The mouth is around the LCD and the eyes are just above the CD slot

Up next is custom made rock sliders..we probably won't start those til May or Juneish

I used to have a 2000. mine were the same way. (Stock head lights, but piaa bulbs in them) I never noticed with the stock bulbs, only with the piaa. So 2 possiblities...1) factory housing is shaped that way, possibley not to blind people in front but aids in lighting up street signs on the side of the road, but it is not that notacible because the factory bulbs do not have as high of a K temp. 2) it's piaa's bulbs, the way the filament is in the bulb inrelation to the reflector that in in the bulb. The possition of piaa's filament is slightly different then factorys, probably one way that they increase the light/foot candle out put.

Now I have a 2009. Same thing happened...factory, never noticed any slant/up lift on the right. Put in the piaa bulbs and noticed it.

so your not the only one... :)
