guess i should update this bad boy. took off the bull bar (for sale btw) and got a demello bumper. mounted up pretty easily and looks great! not sure i'd trust the mounts to a winch...since the bumper is still new in production, i'll let someone else be the guinea pig..anywho..pics!

i'll have to paint that crossbar underneath the bumper so it doesn't stand out so much lol

Could you just chop part of that lower cross bar? Might look a little cleaner.

i think, i don't remember if it's necessary for anything..at least the ends. regardless i'll spray the hell out of it tomorrow as soon as i get the bumper to stop rattling...it's as tight as i can get it and it's slams into the fenders..might have to lower it a bit

Yea I didn't think they were of importance on the end. I'm sure it'll turn out nice painted black though.

well i did it..last week actually. traded the truck in for a 2011 Subaru Impreza hatchback. Love the car! Sad about the truck :( I took the car for a couple hours on an extended test drive (was buying from my g/f's mom so she let me have it for a bit) and by the time I got back, there were 2 offers on my truck!

It was a sad day indeed, but I had just passed 100,000 miles, and the gas was killing me (about $500/month). Sitting solid at 33mpg with the suby :) So I suppose I'll convert this thread into my Subaru build thread..starting with the footwell illumination kit i just picked up..will update once installed.
