The bench in my '04 regular cab is tired and needs replaced. I'm interested in the Corbeau Sport seats - seem like a reasonable balance of comfort, stock appearance and price.

Any input from current Corbeau owners - would "Spice" or "Tan" be a better color match to the Oak interior?

I've seen photos of both but computer screen color can be deceptive.

    Thanks!

Do not get the Corbeau Sport seats. I got them and did not like them at all. I went back to teh stock seats and gave the seats to my BIL, because I could not sell them on Craigslist. Anyone with them is lying if they say they like them.

Well I have heard that opinion in multiple threads, what didn't you like about them? Were they not comfortable?

Re-upholstering my bench is likely in the cost neighborhood of new buckets and I really don't want to do the work of hunting down good-condition seats from a 4Runner or Taco Limited.

A few things...the seats are rather flat, and felt like sitting on a bench. I'm sure breaking them in would have helped. However, my biggest issue was that the lower back/lumbar section is so far forward that I could not comfortably get my upper back/shoulder against the seat without it feeling unnatural. It doesn't look like it when you are staring at photos, but your body will notice it.

If you look at photos of great riding seats, the back/upright portion of the seat looks like it cups your back (I know it sounds odd). The Corbeau Sports seats looks like it leans back.
