Looking for some insight and input on seat installations. I have read conflicting posts on how these bolt right in with the proper seat bracket with no issues, but I have also read that there are issues with seat belts/mounting...etc. I am looking at the Corbeau GTS II with the proper seat bracket for my 2002 Tacoma.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Can't say anything specific about the GTS2 but I just pulled my corbeau baja RS out of my truck along with the bracket and it does match up perfectly to my 2003 AC bolt location. The seat belt bolts into a hole on the seat bracket. The hole is oversized so you'll need hardware ad a few fender washers but it ends up being solid. The seat brackets take 1-2 weeks to ship after order because (from what I understand) they don't stock taco brackets.

I'm planning on selling both the seat and the bracket. Wink Wink nudge nudge.

@MachineGun1987 The only issue that could arise with the seat belt tab on the bracket is it might need a little bending towards the center console or the towards the door depending on the seat, but with the GTSII there shouldn't be any issues.
One thing to notice with that seat though is the bolstering on the base pretty high making it tougher to get in and out and also harder on the seat. Any other questions, shoot me a PM!

I have the CR1 and I had to bend the seat buckle bracket. even then when I slide the seat back and forth, the bracket still rubs against my center console.

I haven't heard very good things about Corbeau seats. At least the reclining ones. Im leaning towards Recaro, Sparco, or OMP. OMP is Italian, so it might actually a bit more quality than the others, comfort wise at least.

The Raid 2 Sky looks real nice! And in vinyl too!

    MachineGun,

At one point, I had the seats you are thinking of buying. I do not recommend them. For the DS seat, the seat bolster went away after a year or so, a bit longer for the seat back bolster. The inside was fine. Same for the PS.
    Very comfortable seat though.

The seat belts weren't an issue as I have the Corbeau double locking brackets. I now have the Baja RS's. Also great seats.

In this pic, you can see the DS bolster is broke down:

And for those who are interested in the CR1 they are pretty much worn in the same area too after a year or soo.
