Nice, probably pretty rare at the junkyard still?

My .02 as an owner of the Moab seats but installed in a1979 full size Jeep Cherokee. Truck had 33 inch tires and rode on a 4 inch lift with leaf springs all around. Old school.

I really liked the Moab seats since a high seat bolster would make it a pain to get in and out of the truck. Back rest has infinite adjustments so always could find a comfortable angle. Nice seat width for a 50 year old man too and headrest fit perfect for 5'10". Liked that they came in a two tone grey with cloth and vinyl.

My dislike was a pizza sitting on the passenger seat created a pizza oil stain. The material never came clean from that stain.

Try leaning back in them, and kind of grab the whole seat and shake it a bit. For mine, they were toast, and felt unsafe. On the passenger seat, the whole reclining function was really janky and the seat leaned back at angle. And for both, the headrests were worn through so you could feel the metal bar. So if you leaned your head back expecting cushion, you'd get a solid smack instead. I fiugred a light rear-ending would give me a concussion or worse if I kept the stock seat.

The headrest on one of them is fudged but because its usually me and my dog (she takes up the backseat) I don't care much. It will get replaced though when the time comes. No doubt about that.

Did you actually put these in a Tacoma? Just curious as I've found a few at nearby junk yards, but before I went searching thought I'd see if this has been done yet...

You can swap any seat into anything. I just swapped 99 Camry power seats into my Tacoma, pretty comfy. It was alot of work, but if you have the time and a welder you can do anything. Those xse seats are sweet, we have them in our 2015 Camry.

Almost anything, some seats are simply too wide. I’m ready to use my existing tracks with new seats as soon as I find a worthy set
