Thank you. I think I answered my own question, saw a video of install in jeep, looks like they move about the same as my stock seats. Good luck with your move!

I'm thinking about picking up some Trailcats for my Tacoma. Does the vinyl get hot? It looks perforated, does that help keep it cool? I do a lot of desert stuff here in SoCal

well.. nearly a year since I put them in, and I’ve probably traveled all of 50 feet in them scooting the truck on and off trailers. The truck is scheduled to go to a local fabricator soon, like maybe next week soon, so I hope to give a real world review before too long. Cross your fingers for me.. haven’t driven this truck since January 2020 and I’m fiending!

Oh man, hopefully you get to drive it soon!
I'll probably just pull the trigger on some trailcats in black and beige. I have the brown interior like you. Corbeau's beige doesn't look so bad in the sea of 100 different shades of brown :D

Before you pull the trigger, I'd email (or call) them and see if you can find a local dealer to try sitting in one. i've been looking for new seats for a while, and I've found that seats that look good/comfy aren't necessarily.

I have other corbeau seats with vinyl without perforation and I get some nice swamp ass and back sweat. The perforation can only help, but not sure how much.

This isn’t the most helpful reply, I know. Just wanted to share the fact that straight vinyl looks great but causes sweat.

I think that decent seats have fabric seat covers. Like you said, vinyl = sweat. I would not even remotely consider a seat cover whose vinyl would touch any part of my body

I got a pair with the corbeau brackets.IMG_20210815_191147551.jpg And I like them. Install was mostly easy. Both outer rear bolts were badly stuck and broke without much force.. I drilled em out and used bolts w washers and nuts under the body.
Seats are comfy, not plush caddy style but firm and supporting. I did an eight hour rough trail and was only sore with loose kidneys and teeth. My butt was still ok. Back felt fine too, I got the lumbar pump and it works well. Stock bench would have been torture.
The side seat butt bolsters could be more firm, off camber I felt they weren't holding me in, but they did. Overall, I'm happy with em, but I'm thinking I could find better.
Oh, and I got the fabric option for our desert heat, they have been acceptable for heat and sweat factors.

What bracket did you order? I have the stock buckets but only see the bench and 60/40 options for brackets.

Slow down a little bit and you'll "see" more. ;)

The 60/40 brackets are labeled "OEM Bucket, 60/40." That means they fit either. Description confirms the "or."

Toyota Tacoma (OEM Bucket,60/40) 95-04 Seat Brackets - Corbeau USA

Note that when you get them, you'll need to do a bit of work if you want to use your OEM seatbelt with the bracket. I outline what I did in my post here when I installed Baja XRS.

How is the access to the back of the xtracab? Better, worse, or same as OEM?

Sorry for multiples of same pic...
And I am still happy with the seats. Do I think that's the best thousand bucks I ever spent? No, but I don't wish I could get my money back , either.
