So their website is down...I plan to email Chris and see what he says, but its a little sketch. I also have never seen this many issues with the URD shifter...or have I been looking in the wrong place? Looking for a relatively cheap weekend project to keep me out of trouble and give the truck some love; leaning toward URD and found this thread. Thoughts?

FYI, I installed one of these over the weekend, they now come with a slightly different stick, no clearance issues at all, both with getting the console back on and with the interference with the front of console/boot in 1, 3, and 5. replaced a trd ss. Like this one a lot, more positive feel than with the trd.

Noisier than both stock and ss trd, both gear noise and engagement noise is transmitted more since no rubber buffer. It doesn't bother me, used to gear noise but if its something that might bother you, you might not like it. I like the positive engagement feel, very solid.

sold it to try out the hurst/core shifter. I installed one on a car a while back and liked it and wanted to try it out on the tacoma. I'm happy with it but like I said it'll transmit gear noise.

Installed one in my 2.7. I originally ordered this one for my 4runner (R150F) but wound up putting it in my Tacoma. I emailed core about the differences between the R150 and R155 kits and they said they're identical with the exception of lower shaft length, which is 4mm longer on the R155. Decided to see if that would be an issue and install it anyway and turns out it works beautifully.

Installed the offset spacer today. Exactly what is needed for the old style stick on the tacoma. The stick is perfectly centered in the console opening now.

Where did you get that from? I might want to get a spacer like that.
