As far as I know, I'm the only one who's done it. It's pretty good because the URD ball is a press fit onto the Core shifter. So no need for the set screws.

Been meaning to make a couple of youtube videos this holiday break so I'll add that one to the list.

I found it was a bit loud in every gear for my taste, so I went ahead and installed the "NVH" kit from Core. While not completely gone, the noise is reduced noticeably. Still louder in 5th/6th than other gears.
Shifting is also a touch smoother, or more accurately, more forgiving... especially when trying to grab 1st.
I may try a weighted knob to dial in the setup a bit more.
    Overall a nice upgrade!

I have that one cement blue looking TRD shift knob that is popular and it is very weighted, all I need is a thread adapter and I think it'd improve shifting ease.

    Hi all.

Would anyone here that has done the Core/Hurst shifter happen to have just the stock shifter available? I don’t need a knob really. Just need a simple stock RC62F shifter assembly.

wow that is way thicker than I would have estimated.
pictured with 8mm bolts, I would have guessed closer to 3/4" little more than double the bolt diameters.

Anyone even slightly regretful about the core shifter? Really tempted but at 3x the price of the URD i'm torn.

    Basically, is it worth $350?

    Not at all.

    Yes.

Just buy the isolator kit at the same time if you're noise/sound sensitive. Once you feel how it shifts, you probably won't care anyway.

Yep. Order the isolator kit with the shifter. It only adds a coupla bucks, and then you have it if the sound bothers ya.

    Canada Eh!
Any idea what material the isolating “pad” is made out of? Might try to DIY it.

Edit: actually disregard. According to Core’s website, it’s just rubber. Should be easy to make!

    Right on.

I guess the critical thing, as far as not messing with the shifter feel too much, would be the thickness of the rubber you use. IIRC, the ones from Core were maybe 3/32 or 1/8" thick.
