    Cool stuff
I can’t get that rubber line on the fitting all the way to the top of the brass fitting

I had the same problem because, as you know, there's not much room to maneuver your hands. My advice...just keep working with it and you'll get it.
Put some lube on it and try some bent nose needle nose pliers.
With that said mine is probably not 100% on there either but pretty sure it's good enough.
It's a breather line, so not sure how much pressure goes thru that line? I'm thinking not a lot.

Just pulled the trigger on one for my 2.7 5spd - hopefully combined with the new clutch pedal TSB and accumulator delete the shifting will at the very least be consistent every time.

Folks say that there is no accumulator on the 2.7l. At the bottom of the ADM thread OP, there is a pic of the 2.7l clutch line parts. I don't doubt folks, but I have asked for a confirmation pic in the area of the slave cylinder. That said, some SR MT folks have said that they get odd clutching from time to time.

Also if your poking around, there has been some discussion if the 2.7l SR came with or without a front sway bar. What's on yours?

    Have a good one.

Interesting. My SR does shift more smoothly than any 3.5 6spd I’ve had the chance to drive - but I figured that was simply the R156F, it pairs correctly with the 2.7. Good to know.

No problem! The accumulator does screw up the engagement. Butter with it gone.

    Anything on the sway bar?

It has a sway bar. Don’t see why some models wouldn’t..

I guess it just didn’t provide the feel I was looking for, I’m fairly picky and just knew it wasn’t going to work for me. Now it’s just siting on shelf in the packaging it came in waiting for someone else to try it and hopefully enjoy it.

Planning on installing this tomorrow. Is it possible to fit a full size 1/2" drive torque wrench into the shifter area to tighten the base bolts? Or do I need a 3/8" drive torque wrench?

From everything I've read about installing a short shifter, you'll only be able to to get a ratcheting swivel head box end wrench in there so I think everyone just torques to 1.5-2 ugga duggas.

I put on some blue loctite and tightened it “snug” using a flex head ratcheting box end wrench. That is about all you can fit on the front bolts.

Well got this installed was pretty easy besides the front bolts. Even with a ratcheting flex I had to crawl under the truck and get a helper to put the ratchet on the bolts. Forgot to put loctite on the 4 base bolts unfortunately. Hopefully I don't have to go back to add loctite. Would y'all recommend adding loctite?

Loctite was for peace of mind. I don’t think they had loctite from the factory.

Oh I see, good to know. I figure I'll go back maybe by my next service and check the bolts.

Mine needs a fluid swap. Kinda typical, have a little over 4K on the factory fill, getting notchier and notchier. I will look at the Hurst shifter in the summer, I have so much STUFF I haven't installed yet.
