Gotcha. What type of work?, if ya don't mind me asking.

I spend at lot time at my farm about hour from North side of CC. ~90min to the beach.

My city house is South of SA, near Floresville.

I will be going to CC again tomorrow/Friday, I have some tools to pick up from homeless depot off Leapord St.

Industrial refrigeration/process cooling, etc. But, considering a career, or career path change... tough to say...

    Got into town for dinner.

First thing tomorrow breakfast tacos I don't have to make, need to hit the credit union, then some incidentals.. and from there... who knows.

Settled in for the night now, got wife and kid in bed....

I know she wants to explore some breweries while in town.

Cool, I will be clearing land in the morning, and around lunch time I'm gonna head down to CC to grab my tools at HD, then probably grab something to eat as well, the Rebel toad or Nueces are good. If yall hit something up mid afternoon, let me know, I might have time to swing by.

Nice. Was busy today. Stopped for lunch @ BJs. Have our youngest down here with us, so, Nueces will be bet. Will be in town for a while, and working on getting reacquainted with the area, as well as working toward the task at hand

If you want to go the east coast gear supply route I can install your gears. I’ve done plenty of 3rd members for diff guys here in corpus

Thanks TXTaquito! I might take you up on that. What ratios did you go with? I'll contact East Coast Supply Thanks and see how much trouble I can get in. Did you do all the calibration on the diffs backlash and so forth?

Thanks Vince, I have contacted East Coast and have talked to PAUL. We are working the logistics. and of course, the budgeting for this . I will be removing them and installing them. Then sending him my front and rear units. Thanks again. Although I have to wait a bit , family and planning that trip to South Padre annual meeting. That should be fun!!! Then I can concentrate on the the Diff project.
    Thank you, Louie

I can see they are Toyo Open Country? Looking at your rig at the beach, Man I can wait till the weather clears up I like to head towards PINs, hang out there do a little fishing. I like to head out to the 60 mile marker, when possible.

37’s.I live in the bluff but work at a shop close to the race track. I usually only do work at the shop cause all the tools I need are there. Ya I haven’t been down pins in a bit. I have a 1st gen 4runner that I take to the beach. The taco is for everything else. My kiddos love the runner more than any of my other trucks lol.

 Checking in. Im moving (PCSing) to Corpus at the end of the month. Is the majority of the off roading on the beach there? I just finished a tour in Oregon and was spoiled with the wheeling.

Welcome, I'm a newbie to the off roading culture, but Texas has a multitude of areas to Adventure, you can overland the whole state and not one area will be the same. In Corpus Christi our main menu would be the coastline many miles of it, and most of the coastline you can drive on it, from the baron Padre Island National Sea Shore area, which is an adventure on its own, this challenges you and your equipment, Rigs to try to make it to the end of that coastline which is 60 miles before you get to the Mansfield Waterway. If you don't make it because Mother Nature dealt you a bad hand of cards, then try a little fishing and catch some shark, or good tasting Red fish.
