I just wanted to post this incase someone else needed this info. I put a set of TRD coils/bilstein front struts on my 98 regular cab 4cyl 4x4. The TRD coils are from a 99 TRD 4x4 Extended Cab v6. The color coding on the coils are red/white and purple/pink. The correct order is purple/pink go on the driver's side and the red/white on the passenger side. I installed them opposite after searching numerous forums and found one that referenced this combo. This combo left the driver side leaning lower than the passenger side. I switched them around and bingo it now sits level. The ride is much smoother, stiffer cornering, just glides over speed bumps and potholes. Now, I just need to find a set of bilstein rears that will fit my 98 that will keep the rear end from hopping all over the road. Maybe this will save someone some confusion it using this color combo of TRD coils.
