Ball joints going bad so replacing my both LCAs with Moog LCAs in a week or so this what I ordered.

    90178-A0001 (QTY 2)
    48198-60011 (QTY 4) <- do I need 4 of these?
    48190-60020 (QTY 2)
    48452-35020 (QTY 2)
    48409-60020 (QTY 2)
    90119-A0166 (QTY 2)

Ordered from the dealer today, came out to $230 and change. Just figured I'd throw that out there. Wasn't able to find a great online source for OEM Parts.

You have all the part numbers correct, but you only need 2 of each part number. Here is a pic of the parts for 1 side. $230 is too much for the cams, but considering that there's 2 extra unneeded parts in your list, that should make the price about right, or just a little bit on the high side. A little more expensive than online dealers, but no shipping charge. Camelback Toyota has pretty good prices, but they no longer offer free shipping.

Reach out to @gunny1005 down at Camelback Toyota. I got mine from him last summer with zero issues and cheaper prices than anywhere else.

Last I contacted him, there was no TW discount, no free shipping, no "happy ending" with every purchase. You get the same price if you go to their website, add to cart and pay with paypal.

In all fairness, they do have good prices. Just don't expect free shipping or royal treatment just because you know the secret password.

I just ordered these parts on toyotapartsdeal.com and it came to about $125
They’ve had the best prices for the OEM hardware stuff I’ve been looking for lately.

That's more like it. Could have gotten them a little bit cheaper online, but often it's just easier to buy from the local dealer for the convenience of getting them the next day.

I have no experience with these but would strongly recommend sticking with OEM for this hardware. Some of us end up having to torque this hardware to 100 ft-lbs to keep everything from coming loose. These bolts are HARD. I've cut a couple of sets out.
Having a grease port drilled down the center of the bolt and cross drilled for grease delivery surely doesn't make them any stronger.
I'd stick with the Toyota part on this one. Just grease them well or anti-seize them well before installation.

This is your only option really. Just go OEM

I wish I would have read this thread last year. I replaced my LCAs last year with the MOOG LCAs, because my lower ball joints were shot and cam bolts were seized up as well. I bought their cam bolt kit as well, which are re-greasable. I now have to replace the LCA bushings and cam bolts because the bushing cracked and bolts seized up again. The mechanic said that although re-greasable cam blots sound like a great idea, they actually cause the bushing to break down faster.

Long story short, just go with OEM. Which is what I am doing now. Although the MOOG ball joint seems to be the only component holding thus far.

Someone in the previous post probably has the best idea @odomandr = just rebuild them with the whiteline poly bushings, OEM hardware, and MOOG ball joints.

    Learn from my mistake!

Fucking garbage, the eccentrics, strips out with a quickness. Shitty metal and manufacturing, as mentioned oem use a nice hard steel.

Thanks for sharing your experience, l’ll go with OEM for caster adjusters, more expensive but as they say, only cry once.

Does anyone know if you can just use the inner sleeve from 48409-60020? Like can the inner sleeve be pulled off the actual cam adjuster?

My LCAs are seized and I am not confident I will be able to re-use the existing inner sleeve.

I have heard great things about Poly Performance's "Taco Tabs" cam delete but they don't come with a replacement inner sleeve.

    https://www.polyperformance.com/pol...5-tacoma-03-09-4runner-gx470-07-09-fj-cruiser

Going to go with OEM LCAs with pre-pressed bushings/ball joints but want to make sure I have everything I need before I start the job.

    Thanks
