Correcting odometer/speedometer for bigger tires

    For those who stumble into this thread. I was gifted the 730123 for father's day to add to my 2022 Tacoma.

    Amazon said it wouldn't work on my truck but hypertech's website said it would.

    I updated the devices firmware with a windows 12 laptop.

    That firmware upgrade allows you to select a 2021 toyota tacoma, But nothing newer.

    Using the 2021 Tacoma setting on my 2022 Tacoma did not work. I tinkered and fudged numbers for an hr driving around 45 miles. The speedometer was off the same value no matter what I did.

    I called hypertech to see if they could verify that 2022 wasn't supported. They said they hadn't gotten their hands on a 2022, I suspect also a 2023, to get the device working for those.

    I'm north 2 hrs from their Memphis, TN hq. I offered my truck for testing. They said they would need a local truck as it would take 2-3 days. I couldn't tie mine up for that long that far away.
