Has anyone heard of the #K0D program from Toyota? I received a card stating they would inspect and apply a Corrosion Resistant Compound (CRC). I'm not sure if it is just something to get me to buy something. Thanks for your responses.

Yup get it done, they check your frame for perforation and if they find any you get a new frame. If no holes found they keep your truck for up to 24 hours and give you a rental, they clean the frame in where the cats are then inject a white goop and plug it off. They don’t touch the rest of the frame only there with the goop.

I had the CRC added about 2 months ago, and it’s still dripping goop onto my garage floor.

Do you have to be the original owner of the truck to be eligible for the program? Or can you just bring in your truck to the dealership and they'll perform the inspection?

If you guys provide a link to the info, I can read that. Didn't see anything specific when searching

No. Just needs to be titled in your name. And even that I’m not sure they even check. It’s based on the VIN for Cold weather states.

If you want to extend the factory corrosion warranty for your frame to 12 years from the first in-service date for absolutely free, do it. If you want to take your chances, pass on it. It's basically a no brainer.
