CorrosionX HD vs FF fluid film ... which is more durable? ... corrosion x testing

    '97 black SR5 0g ~ MT @ 176k ...
    black woolWax, green IFC, borlaCB, custom Line-X PC drums, skid, nuts, hooks, 1/4 silver frame...
    3 foot section on trucks frame sprayed with CorrosionX HD last winter, ... finally getting around trying to remove it for a new primer coat to replace the failing one

    I had troubles in the past with FF sticking with ANY kind of water splashing/hosing/pressure spraying wheel wells

    but this CorrosionX HD is taking MUCH effort to remove

    at 100psi with abrasive blast media gun i have gone through already 25 lbs of glass bead media to get this section removed!
    so that is pretty darned hardcore stuff for durability

    but yes, there are most likely drawbacks with this product vs. the competition
    yada yada

    some of it is still on there, have to remove the rear tire to get the rest

    sprayed on and what was left after many undercarriage washings last fall

    Yeah I remember seeing those pics.

    Any worry of having moisture/corrosion festering under this coating?
