Did they change fluids at all... 'Cause thats never happened!

I did the diffs, transfer case and MT recently at 20k. I made sure to grab the right fluids each time!
Gaskets? crush washers? Installed? Properly torqued?

I'm happy to do it myself...

This is my main worry... whether they did it, how it was done, and what they put in there...

Did they just use 30w from the barrel in the back?

About $400 for front and rear diff, transfer case, and oil change and air filter. Plus vacuum the truck. Local lube station (locally owned and independent).

I paid $500 for that plus a oil change... I'll be doing all my fluids moving forward.

I have to ask why a 2 year old vehicle needs a new battery hold down bracket and PCV valve? What's an AC refresher? That's a closed system that shouldn't need maintenance unless there's a leak.

Oh these were all declined immediately lol. Even the tech was like the battery bracket price can’t possibly be right, but it was.

I looked it up online and can buy it from them for $16. lol.

I have looked at this kit. It appears to have all the fluids and I'm assuming none of the crush washers. Are you going to the dealership for those?

    Thanks

You definitely could get them all from the dealer, but I just got a knockoff set on Amazon like this: https://www.amazon.com/Differential-Compatible-Highlander-9043024003-1215710010/dp/B0C4T3K4B9

This is the service list I got from toyota recently 269 canadian for the 4wd service assuming that's the differentials. I'll call to ask what that actually entails. I rejected the services and said just do what my ECP plan covers at the time.

Phoned the service department i usually go To get extra clarification on what the 4wd entails, and it is a front, rear, and transfercase fluid change for 268 canadian +taxes. I phoned another toyota and they were quoting triple that price for all 3. I think 268cad is a pretty decent deal.
