Late last year the frame on my tacoma was to the point of snapping in half, and after weighing my options decided to replace the frame myself with the help of my dad and uncle. We were able to find what appeared to be a recently factory replaced frame at a salvage yard on a truck that had been rolled. The cost of the frame was $2500 (you could find cheaper probably, but this particular yard removes all parts for you and charges you labor), and after replacing pretty much the entire front and rear suspension, fluids, fasteners, and other misc items, the total was around $3750. Like I said, we did 100% of the labor ourselves over the course of several weekends, and it was absolutely a hell of a project as we're hardly mechanics. If you are really wanting the truck and can find a frame that is new/like new, $3000-$4000 is probably what you are looking at if you are comfortable doing it yourself.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
A frame swap is not an easy undertaking. but its doable. If you do go through with it i can get you the instructions toyota provides. Like stated multiple times though this really is not a cost effective job to do unless you do it yourself

mines currently sitting like this... still waiting on $ to keep building.. but mind you im going overkill lol

Yeah it took three of us probably 60 hours of work start to finish to get the job done, granted we didn't really know what we were doing and didn't have all of the equipment we needed. But it's done, no one got hurt, and plenty of beer was drank hahaIMG_20180922_111352755.jpg

they're a toyota dealer, why don't they fix it?

I mean, it was brought in too late for the frame replacement, but since it belongs to them now, can't they just bring and install a new frame?

with a new frame, it will be much easier to get top-dollar, like they so badly seem to want o_O

Agreed, if they don't want to replace the frame they should wholesale it. "Price is firm"...really?? GTFO
