I have a '13 Access cab. I want to do the back two windows and rear windshield in 5% while the front two windows 20%. Don't care about the laws, I know the cops and they don't care either. Just wondering what the average cost it has run some of you guys.

$99 places are usually crap long term...

Most places will offer like $150 with a warranty. You could get picky with brands and solar resistance and pay up to $500 like I did. Like anything, you get what you pay for.

But when it comes down to it, if they offer a lifetime warranty, the $150 tint is fine. Take some time and call a few places...ask what they charge and what tint they use. American Standard Window Film (ASWF) is lower budget and what most of the $99 places use. FormulaOne and Llumar are decent, and 3M is good if you get their better films.

Long story short...$150-200 should get you decent film with a lifetime warranty against peeling, fading, bubbling, and scratches.

Awesome, sounds good. I have gotten quotes of $800 thinking that was normal, glad I asked first cause now I know that place must be a scam.

I paid around $300+ for my 2013 double cab: 5% all rear glass, 30% front, "80%" front windshield.

~$200 (IIRC) when I had my 2012 access cab: 5% all rear glass, 20% front.

    Same company using Llumar tint.

$800 is prob a scam...unless you're tinting a Bentley with the best shit you can find....

Decent Llumar film with warranty should run $200-$250 for the whole truck with sliding rear window. Windshields usually run $75-$100. AirBlue80 windshield tint is usually $100-$120, and you can't tell it's there, but has Exellent heat rejection.

Paying $500 for tint is effing absurd.

Contact Jeff at Coastal Window Tinting in Toms River.

Might be kind of far for you but it's worth the ride. He's been in business for 20 years and does amazing work. He has done my BMW and Porsche and the boat. He did my Tacoma for less than $120 I think. It will come out perfect. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my cars. All he does is window tint on cars boats and houses. It's not a 12 volt shop turning out cars.

I paid $65 or so with tax for llumar with a lifetime warranty for the back two windows. The wife got her sedan tinted at the same place all around for $150 or so. But we're in the Midwest, cost of living is lower here.

A good friend of mine does window tint (owns his own shop) and he did my truck for $60 but i'd expect somewhere in $100-$150 range.
