I found a tonneau cover on Craig's list that will fit my truck but it's the wrong color. Any idea of how much it would cost for a basic paint job?

Just call a local body shop. That will give you a better idea. I'm gonna guess around $300 from previous experiences...

I'm unsure of the cost. IMO, I would keep searching for a couple weeks to find a color matched cover. Saves you the hassle to get it to a shop for paint, possibly extra cost, and will probably have a better paint match. Remember, your truck has seen more sun than a newly painted cover. It might not match exactly.

Most paint codes have numerous variants and A good body shop will be able to find the right one. Should be a better match than simply ordering based on just the paint code. I used to paint, and there was a Pontiac color that was sort of a bluish purple that had something ridiculous like 15 variants. Bitch to match. A really good painter will be able to tweak the color by eye and do some spray out cards to assure a killer match.
