wow... he's got a lotta stones... how much does a power stroke diesel engine cost? i'd never chance it...

oh yeah, and... be careful who ya tellin. it's against the law to do that since road use taxes are not collected on aviation fuel. it was made abundantly clear to me one time when I wanted to put some av-gas in my '68 mustang with 11.5:1 compression ratio.

    back to bone stock.
a few months ago. during the hot and high fuel prices, all three of my cars were empty.

i took them all in to costco. took all day. two times, i saw the big rig there filling the underground tanks. i asked the worker there. he said the average is 8 times!! that big rig shows up 8 times a day!! if anything, that fuel is fresh. really fresh.

i have no issues, using the fuel. the cash back from Amex is worth it.

dont go when they are refilling the pumps. There a lot of crap and junk on the bottom that can end up in your truck.

Costco gets their fuel from which ever local refinery or depot can supply them with product. whether it be Arco/BP, Chevron/Texaco, Exxon/Mobile (Esso) or Shell or whatever else there is. The nature of the biz is alot of suppliers usually provide fuel for many different branded stations, but the additives could be different, like Chevron/Texaco stations will get a dose of Techron added in, and same goes for whatever Shell puts in. Costco gets same fuel maybe with or without certain additives, either way gasoline is gasoline.

I use Shell gas. My family has been running their gas in all our cars for 15+ years. No Costco reasonably near to me anyway.

Here's a question- Where do you go to buy the gas that gunks up your valves in 10,000 miles like on the pictures at the top tier stations? I want some of that good thick gas!!
