    does anyone know if the 24F AGM from Costco is a "deep cycle"? not very familiar with these

    Pure stock
    That duralast is a good old regular lead acid battery and the exact match of the OEM. Battery prices are way up because copper and lead is way up. Any lead acid battery will last nearly the same. Go for the cheapest one that allows you to check electrolyte level (not maintenance free) and make sure you check it a few times a year.

    I’m looking for something close in size with more reserve capacity or that I can run down more than the oem battery. I have a solar panel and mppt setup but often run a fridge off the main battery

    Had a Costco battery in my 2004 4Runner that lasted 9 months recently. Now, that is not great, what is great is that Costco gave me a brand new battery for free (or maybe $10 for disposal) and I wasn’t even the original purchaser of the battery. Can’t beat that. I have no idea if I just got a dud or if something is draining the battery. My alternator tested good. Either way, can’t beat Costco.
