Just starting out a build thread after a few years of minor mods, I'll be trying to get everything somewhat in order





Animus (noun) - Motivation to do something.
This truck gets me out more than anything and can truly show me all that Colorado has to offer

Quickly needed a cab mount chop. Insain Fab in Thorton did it in an hour and for $150

Jump to Twin lakes Colorado. Ain't no double rainbow but I liked it.



Early July 15, found a great deal on the Magnaflow Catback offroad pro series. Install took hours because I had to literally drill the old nuts off the exhaust bolts. Made sure to coat the new ones with anti seize.

 

Top of Cinnamon Pass on the beginning of the Alpine Loop. Definitely the best excursion I've done to date.


Corkscrew Gulch with Silverton Mountain in the background. Skid it March 2015 and now have lift tickets for March this year too.


Probably the best photo I have of my truck Yankee Boy Basin on the way from Ouray to the trailhead of Mt Sneffels. Girlfriend and I backpacked into the Blue Lakes area, spent the night, hiked Sneffels the next morning, and then found an unreal campsite at the base of the amphitheater above Ouray.

Seeing all of your pictures just made me so excited to explore CO. I really like how you tracked your build and have all the pics to show for it.

 

Painting these things took forever, but probably just because I'm a perfectionist. Shout out to @3378jakesr5 for helping me get these welded.

Great looking truck! Makes me want to go to all those places. Just have to wait for the snow to melt already!

 

Medano Pass primitive loop in the great sand dunes. Been I while since an update and the Prinsu rack has gone on since then

 

Plano case went on, 40in single row morimoto xtorch went on, then came off until I can get tamper proof hardware

 

Shredded the Alpine Loop again this August.

Engineer Pass:





Drove up into Silverton Mountain Ski area, turns out theres a turquoise lake at the bottom you can't see in the winter

Overall trip: Started in Ouray, took Mineral Creek to Engineer Pass, then to Jenny Creek. Hiked Uncompahgre Peak, then drove through Lake City, over Cinnamon Pass into Silverton. Took Ophir Pass to Alta Lakes outside of Telluride, then got our Brown Dog Pizza fix for the summer, and finally took Imogene over back to Ouray and then home

 

Shout out to @Joshp767 for the rock solid front skid. I chunked the shit out of my Duratracs but didn't put a single scratch on it. I should be ready for more armor this fall
