This has been an issue for a while, and I've just not gotten around to doing anything about it....

In your 2nd gen truck, preferably a 2009 or so, would someone mind please taking a video, at night, of the dash gauges in the following conditions, with the engine running, and as they are changing. Hold each one for a few seconds so I can really tell the difference in multiple areas of the dash.

    1. Headlights off
    2. Parking lights on
    3. Headlights on
    4. Headlights on, rotate dimmer dial all the way to dark (slowly)
    5. Headlights on, rotate dimmer dial all the way to full brightness.

What I'm looking for is how the brightness of the backlighting for the numbers on the speedometer (and other gauges) changes with different headlight states AND as the dimmer dial is changed.
