    Hi everyone from outside Philadelphia,

My 2103 needs leaf springs. It squeaks over bumps at slower speeds, and it bottoms out on bumps that shouldn't bottom this truck out by a longshot. I took it to my guy and he quoted me about $900.

    Is that a fair price?

Is there another option to stiffen up the suspension?

Should I address the front while I'm at it?

I've had it since May of 2020 and this is my first truck. I welcome any and all advise and opinions.

Thanks for your time and I hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

    Take care,
    Jim

Watch a youtube vid on it, its pretty easy. $900 seems about right for philly cus its probably a bitch to take out the bolts cus of rust. A blow torch and a grinder. I personally think its easy diy, save youreself 600$.

If you can do it your self you can save money. Else you pay for the convenience of paying someone to do it for you. $900? You should be getting all new bushing's & U-bolts. I replaced the shackles and bump stop(s) while I was in there.

If you want a lift do it now while the leaf springs are being replaced.

    Check the local Toyota dealer.

There was a TSB/Warranty on Leaf Springs......it may apply to your truck.

900 to replace or for the leaf packs or both. A good set of leaf springs will range from 500-1000 depending on manufacturer plus install if you don’t do it yourself.
