So my mechanic finally got my sliders on, but he fucked up as you'll see. I gave him the instructions as well as told him how to mount it.

The trucks never going to leave pavement, so I'm not too worried.

But the front corner of the slider bashes into my cab Mount on just about every bump. How much of the mount can I cut off to give some clearance?

First are they weld on sliders or bolt on? Second you can cut pretty much the whole end off the cab mount back to the bolt access hole. Opinions vary

    Reserected from the dead.
The simplest would to be just bend over that pinch weld. Use a blunt chisel or similar to pound it out of the way.

Paint it with a similar color and move on.

They're welded on. And that's good to know that I can remove and reweld the mount.

That was the plan for all the places the weld touches. It doesn't make much noise from the pinch welds, just where the mount hits
