These carnage pictures are gnar gnar. I'd shat my pants if my rig was sitting on a tire like that.

Mine doesn't look so bad now lol. My driver side ball joint came loose the day before and was hanging on by half of a bent bolt. Then the next day...this. I am going through the insurance, but I am going to do the work myself. I am going to Toyota this weekend for new ball joints and then I need to assess the damage once the adjuster has been and I can take a better look. Obviously I can't touch it until they have seen it. I am ready to get it up and running though.

I love your truck by the way. I would like mine to look like that one day...except 4 door lol. I know it will take some time to get it back up and running, but I don't think the damage is too bad...certainly not as bad as yours...looks almost painful :)

Damage doesn't look too bad. And really if you want help go into the AZ thread and create a mod day thread or something. There will be AZ guys that will show up and help. We all end up helping each other quite often.

    Good luck!

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

Yea..my third bad encounter with LBJ issues haha summer before i had two bolts fall out and the other two sheared off in the spindle in the middle of a trail. Luckily i was able to pull one and get three bolts in it with the help of my friends there and got it home fine. But damn..this things are killing me! haha

The first one wasn't super bad really. i was driving slow enough it just split the steering rack and killed a CV, LBJ, brake line and OTRE.

The second time..was going much faster..haha Was bit worse that go around..

Scares the shit outa you every time though! haha

Was bad, but...all fixed now

Hopefully your steering rack is okay. Mine split both times and the second time it ripped the mount clean off the cross member and i had to weld it back on. Some how i was able to find two steering racks in where i live in junk yards..was a miracle..haha

Thanks! :D its been one hell of a build..haha i feel you on the double cab. My double cab will soon replace Frankenstein on trails/crawling/exploring truck. Frank will become race truck  hopefully anyways..
