    About 10-12 inches wide and plenty deep. As an example, a large ammo box fits in there. :D

    They are deeper on the ends (go down each side of the wheel well). I got the dividers and covers for the lower areas, making them flat inside.
    They also have drain plugs if you want to use them as a cooler. They are 100% water tight. They have lights inside.

    AND...they lock and unlock with the keyless system (as does the tailgate) :bananadance:
