I've seen a few around San Diego they're the standard suspension (non prerunner/4x4) double cab really odd looking. I think they only come in short bed

I know, just giving her better options in her price range. I'd pick any of these first gens over the second gen she's looking at any day.

    OP.
I think the truck u have in mind is too much $.
Either save your $ and buy a newer one with less miles,or find another one with no issues.
I would advise staying away from New England or northeast trucks, too much rust.
If u r willing to fly look into the southern states for a truck without rust.
    Good luck,and don't stop looking.
It took me 1 year to find my '07 in great shape.
Although I just had my frame replaced.

I would keep looking around and not buy the first truck you look at, the price seems a bit high for the miles and issues .Just be patient and another truck will come up, and you might expand your search area to other citiesi f you have not already. I drove over 1200 miles to get mine . Good luck.

This thread reminds me of the ones where us 2tr owners ask "How can I make my 4banger more power?".... And then insist every mod but a S/C is a reasonable possibility

Btw anyone have a URD S/C up for grabs?

Those are all great trucks however I want the 2nd Gen body style and I would like double doors and I don't like gold. But thank you for looking! I'm still looking and have decided to not mess with the brown one I liked.

Agreed. Either keep shopping IMO or haggle him down more. As for the vibration, more than likely balancing/alignment or the tires are worn out unevenly.
    Also; welcome.
