Yep, those are the ones, M8 x 1.25, had the exact same issue with mine. $7 on Fleabay. Be sure you take the lever all apart and grease it up good. In my case it was the brake wouldn't fully retract when released and the brake light stayed on, turned out the front cable was slightly stretched, not the rear. Might as well replace that one too. :-D

Use what you have on hand, just coat it so rust doesn't creep back in, any kind of grease. I like the energy suspension silicone grease, it's REALLY sticky and won't wash off as easily. Regular squirts of WD-40 or Marvel Mystery Oil will work in a pinch. :-D

I got me a can of fluid film from wally world, and squirt anything with bare non-painted metal in the under regions....... especially exposed threads...every year...

On high temp threads, like the O2 sensor studs .....I smear high temp threadlock on those threads every year or so...

When you buy aftermarket stuff and hardware store bolts, especially front suspension stuff........most of that will rust much faster than the original oem parts.... especially exposed threads.

On that coupler I would rattle can with chassis epoxy and then shoot the internal thread with the FF.....or blue threadlock..
