I just bought a new 2011 4 Door Tacoma with the 5 foot bed. I need to find a good combination of a good rack to carry lumber, etc and a Tonneau Cover or Cap to keep stuff dry. Does anybody have a good suggestion? Thanks for the input.

    Welome to TW!

I like the Undercover Tonneau. I have it on my truck and it's stout, and can hold up to 500 lbs.

You could get some Yakima or Thule tracks and install them on the cover, and get some risers for it. Something like this:

Thanks, that looks great. Does the cover mount to the existing bed rails? And how would you mount a rack on the cover? Does that really work?

Nice, I'd rather have a topper but I'll definitely keep this one in mind since it's easy to remove. We go to Branson a couple times a year and spend a weekend and Rogersville is right nearby which would make it easier if you can buy them there.

What if I get a topper and seperately a rack. How much of a pain would it be to take one off and put the other one on?

this wouldn't work as you couldn't open the undercover with big racks on it.

I wish I could get ladder racks to fit with my tonneau
