Covered under warranty? Powder Coating coming off

Anybody know if this is something that Toyota would cover under warranty? I noticed the powder coating coming off slightly just a couple months or so after buying the truck. At first, it didn’t bother me being that it was only a tiny area. I told myself hey it’s a truck, shit like that is going to happen. 4 or 5 months later it is way worse, it looks like this and now it’s something I can’t stand to look at. It seems like this piece can easily be taken off, but I could be wrong ‍♂️

- I also have never hauled anything in my bed so that ruled out any sort of rubbing or anything like that.

 

It’s a cheap thin part that probably cost them $10. Have them replace it.
