A bit of everything up there, some they have closed due to roll over deaths, most trails are marked with the info, unless the guy with the shotgun blasting markers got there first.lol

The fenced off campground just off the lake,We were on a first name basis with the forrest ranger up there for "having fun"few years back. And one of the reasons it is now fenced.lol What ever you do dont get caught out on the lake bed!Lots of good times camping and wheeling up there plus the lake county sheriffs with their padded wagon offering us rides!Lots of fun had up there!

Im down to leave around 9 or 10 from santa rosa. Just let me know.

Only problem is that my gf and her friends just took up the 4runner to the snow today for a day trip and its having some minor overheating problems. Ill have to work those out before the weekend so im keeping my fingers crossed that its not a big issue!

Gosh, girlfriends and the issues they cause. lol. the only reason i would be leaving at 10:30ish is because the girlfriend really really wants to go but doesn't get off work until 10:30.

An hour and a half probably. Depending on how fast they drive and if there is any traffic (doubtful).

Ya I think close to a 4 hour drive might be out of the question for short notice, maybe next time and i'll make a little trip out of it.
