Yes it was.

I was just at the car wash cleaning my truck up after this weekend. Two guys both told me I had a nice truck, and one asked if I was taking it to a car show, haha.

 

Fun run guys. Too bad "I didn't get a flat that stranded me out there" or I would've stayed another day to finish it up. Didn't get to use my shitter I'll post what little videos we got in a bit (Sorry, Brian- my thumb got in the way of some of your ascent.) Martha will let me post the pics when she's done with them.

 

How's the rest of the ineterior?? How much is she asking for it? I'm liking the look.

Dude- Doug- the trail was sick but it really sucked that the second crossing was closed. Matt talked to a ranger and I guess the river diverted itself... so they closed off the other route. I went up the rock hill faster than I probably needed to, but you know me- always putting in extra effort to see the job done right. Would've been a more fun of a time were you there to give some good laughs though. You were definitely missed.

 

Headed home to Hermosa, will post up when i arrive! I swear this drive to el cajon and hermosa feels shorter every time..

Awww, thanks for the sentiment buddy, yeah I miss trailing with you guys, hell I miss my truck .... period. That sucks the crossing is no more (for the moment anyway) Hopefully a transmission isn't too far away for me, are you & matt home now ? Or staying another night ?? that little 'yota is very clean inside & out really, she's the original owner, has about 210,00 miles, IFS, manual trans/manual locking hubs/SR5 / the coveted 22R (almost indestructable) BUT !!! there is an issue, they told me it has a blown head gasket, but it does run, a quick compression check will tell the whole story pretty much, I can prolly get it for $2,000. Lots of parts around for 22R's & they're cheap too.... we'll talk later

Oh yeah! Greg BOMBED up that thing! It was cool being at night going up it! All i here is off the CB is greg "Heres the rock climb! Good luck boys!" and him just masshhinngg up it! I had no trouble getting up it because of my locker, but i thought it was madness!! GREAT spot!!

 

and mobbed we did!!! that night run was spot on.

 

The run through the washes were crazy as well. Nothing like soft sand to slide around with.
