My girlfriend doesn't get out of work til 5 so it looks like we will be arriving after dark. I "think" i have a good grasp on the location but i will text you if i get lost.

GF wants to know what the ammenities are like at the campground. i.e. showers? toilets? etc.

 

None! We dig a hole and go in it and cover it up ! This is pure roughing it tell her! me and texas taco are meeting in julian around 6pm if you want to meet us there and roll out with us. im not off till 4pm and he doesnt get off till 5 like you.

 

@Gabe if she can't pop a squat and shit in a hole she'll be hating life.

Alright, good to know. I've roughed it more time than i've liked out of necessacity so now worries here. The GF, on the other hand...i think it may be safe to say she'll be sitting this one out.

@Matt, if my GF bails on me, i'll probably head out with Chris and Greg but if she does go, i think we should be able to meet you up at Julian. I'll keep you posted.


** GF bailed on me but i forgot i had a work appt at 1 so i will probably be heading out of Chula Vista at about 4-ish. I will meet you (Matt) up in julian around 6.

@ Gabe- Tell her she aint going to be the only girl out there. Ill bring a five galllon bucket with a toilet seat on it for her to use. Most of our girls are going!

 

Does anyone know the rules on fires out there? I dont remember seeing any metal fire rings. Can we just make a ring with rocks and have a fire or do they have set rules out there?

 

I guess i will help Greg out by reposting the list to see if everyone on it is still going and if there is anyone else out there who wants to go and have a great time camping out and trailing all weekend.
