I pulled the plug out and put my finger in the hole and turned it over with my hand, i feel a bit of air but not enough to push my finger out.

what was that spray that goes in the filter?

Im going to change the gas, FML i got to mix it :( So whats a good oil/and ratio?

I used to run belray MC-1 at 50:1 in my KX. If you go with any other oil do it at 30:1.

You wont know until after but try anywhere from 32:1 to 40:1. The spray is called Ether/starter fluid. Do you know how to bump start it/have you tried to?

I know how but i cant do it myself, only on a downhill

The reason i ask about the spray was because when i turn it over i hear the airfilter trying to suck in air or similar

Starting from scratch, the first thing I would do is to see if it runs when you bump start it, but since you cant do that right now move onto spark or fuel.

Test to see if there is a spark using this method
if there is a spark proceed to testing the air/fuel with starter fluid and kick starting it to see if it starts.

If this doesnt do it, then go to bumpstarting.

Ok well then the problem is either compression or fuel/air. The next step would be either to try to bump start it or use starter fluid.

If you can turn it over with your hand, it probably has weak compression. Pull the exhaust and look at the piston through the exhaust port. You can put it in gear and and spin the rear wheel if the kickstarter won't turn the engine. What does the piston look like? Any scrapes on the piston, probably means you'll need a new top end and maybe have the cylinder bored. You'll have to pull the head and cylinder off to tell for sure. With the cylinder off, you'll be able to check the connecting rod for freeplay.

One way to tell if you have fuel is if the new spark plug is wet with fuel after trying to start it a few times.

Mine didn't either. love 2 strokes.

agreed good deal running or not. 2 strokes are easier to get going than a pos 4 stroke.

My 2001 YZ-250 would occasionally kick back like a brahma bull, did that right off of the showroom floor, everyone said it was normal, so I left it alone. Hmm.
